This short documentary about a black activist who becomes a legislator gives a good perspective into a number of issues and manages to create a substantial portrait of a man’s life, in less than 30 minutes. It is touching, but not emotionally demanding, and it does build up to something towards the end. By the end of it, you feel like you know the guy and what his motivation is.
