“Falling Slowly” is one of my favourite songs ever, but I had never seen Once because… I don’t know why. Maybe because I suspected the film would not rise to the level of this amazing song. And while it’s hard to reach the perfection of the song 😛 it is a beautiful, nice, heartfelt, very low-budget film.

I confess tearing up when “Falling Slowly” started around minute 15, because I expected it much later in the film and it took me by surprise, delivering a K.O. It’s a film with mostly non-professional actors, and yet it works because of the songs and because of the group effort and love around it. I liked it.
