I didn’t expect I would like this film so much, almost 20 years after seeing it. It’s crazy it’s been that long. It was previously an 8/10 for me, but I am easily upgrading it to a 9, because I’ve found very few flaws to it. The entire cast is superb - talk about a great ensemble - and the screenplay is funny, keeping a fast pace and the excitement around the adventure.

George Clooney is arguably at his best here, definitely the best comedy role I’ve seen him in, he’s charming, and the Clark Gable look suits him very well. Tim Blake Nelson, John Turturro and especially Charles Durning are just as good. The film’s great fun.
