The second film from the Austin Powers series is a stupid comedy, with an absurd screenplay and aggressively offensive. It’s very politically incorrect, which goes with the territory with the parody genre, and that would’ve mattered less had it been authentically funny.

The individual characters are interesting, with a lot of potential, even the cameos, but the screenplay is just not funny enough. Sure, I laughed a couple of times, but otherwise I just smiled my way through it. Fat Bastard was the most captivating. 😛 If you don’t take it seriously, it’s quite relaxing to watch, while also doing something else. 😊
